What is your inclement weather policy?

In the event of inclement weather, safety is our number one concern. We will choose from three options – CFC Academy will close, delay the opening of school, or remain open. We will alert local television stations to broadcast our decision in the early morning hours. The safety of the staff and children is our primary concern in deciding whether school opens during inclement weather. It is impossible to know the road conditions in all areas, so we urge you to use your own judgment in deciding whether your child should go to school.

Do the students attend chapel and Bible class?

Because CFC Academy values every student, we intentionally create time each day for students in Biblical study. As a part of our curriculum, each day student has Bible classes that offer a blend of creative Bible teaching with relevant life application. Also, every day students spend time in worship together on Friday’s. This time of worship or “chapel" offers a variety of rich experiences including singing, focused prayer time, small group discussion, and guest speakers.

Uniforms

  • We believe appearance reflects values and affects behavior. Uniforms are an important tool in creating an appropriate tone of our learning environment.

The guidelines are as follows:

  1. All students are to wear dress black or navy bottoms (females – skirts/jumpers and males – slacks) and white dress shirts. These uniforms are worn on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  1. White or Navy plain polo shirts (with or without school emblem) and khaki pants can be worn on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (elementary & middle only).  If a student chooses, the dress navy uniform can be worn everyday.
